말하기 기초영문법 17. 지시대명사 this/these, that/those

 

지시대명사는 특정한 사람이나 사물을 가리키는 데 사용한다.

 a + 단수명사 this(단수) / these(복수) → here 여기의 의미로 사용

that(단수) / those(복수)  →   there 저기의 의미로 사용

  

지시형용사 - 명사와 같이 사용

This market will be open until Sunday.

That exhibition closed a week ago.

 이 시장은 일요일까지 문을 연다.

저 전시는 일주일 전에 끝났다.

  

지시대명사 - 명사 없이 사용

this (단수형) / these (복수형)

 This is our house.  여기가 우리 집이다.

This is my cousin. 이쪽은 내 사촌이야.

 

 

Hello, this is Anne. Can I speak to Mike?

여보세요, Anne인데요. Mike랑 이야기 할 수 있을까요?

 

These are very expensive shoes.

These are my friends, Tom and Mark.

 이것들은 비싼 신발이다.

이들은 내 친구, 탐과 마크에요.

[지시대명사] - 명사 없이 사용

that (단수형) / those (복수형)

That's Jennifer's house over there.
Those are very expensive shoes.

저기가 제니퍼의 집이다.
저것들은 비싼 신발이다.

A: Shall we go to the cinema?
B: Yes, that's a good idea.

영화관 갈까?
그래, 좋은 생각이야.

A: I've got a new job.
B: That's great.

나 새로운 직장을 구했어.
