1. inform 알리다, 통지하다

Will you inform me of my test results?

검사 결과를 알려 주실 건가요?

Yes, I’ll call you as soon as possible.

네, 가능한 한 빨리 전화를 드리겠습니다.

 

Nobody informed me of the new plan.

아무도 나에게 새로운 계획을 알려주지 않았어요.

 

 

2. announce 발표하다, 공고하다

They’ve just announced that our train will be delayed.

방금 우리 기차가 연착될 거라는 방송이 나왔어요.

Oh, they’re always late.

이런, 항상 늦는다니까요.

 

 

3. declare 발표하다, 선언하다

Did he leave the company?

그 사람은 회사를 떠났나요?

No, he declared he would not resign.

아니요, 사직하지 않겠다고 발표했어요.

I declare the opening of the Olympics.

올림픽 개막을 선언합니다.

 

 

4. issue 발표하다, 출판하다

Is this magazine issued every week?

이 잡지는 매주 발행되나요?

No, it’s issued once a month.

아니요, 한 달에 한 번 나와요.

5. present 발표하다
When is the company supposed to present its new project?

회사에서 새로운 프로젝트를 언제 발표하기로 되어 있나요?

In the beginning of March.

3월 초입니다.

 

 

6. report 보고하다, 보도하다

Did you see the news last night?

어젯밤 뉴스 봤어요?

They reported on our company’s performance.
우리 회사 실적이 보도되었어요.

Yes, I did. I think we should report that to the president.

네. 사장님께 그 사실을 보고 드려야 할 것 같아요.
