② Let's call it a day : 일과를 마치다

We have worked much today. Let's call it a day for tomorrow.

(오늘 우린 일을 너무 많이 했어. 내일을 위해 여기서 일을 그만 마치지.)

 

③ make a quick trip : 급히 다녀오다

You had better make a quick trip to New York headquarter office right now.

(자네가 뉴욕 본사에 지금 당장 다녀오는 게 좋겠어.)

 

④ make it big : 크게 한탕 하다(=to hit the gold mine, to hit the jack pot)

Let's make it big in the laptop computer market with our new models.

(우리들의 새 모델들로 노트북 컴퓨터 시장을 한번 석권해 봅시다.)

 

⑤ the name of the game : 중요한 것, 관건(=of importance, of consequence)
