명사란? 이름을 가지고 있는 모든 것

“레몬 다섯 개가 있다.” 
“There are five lemons.” = “레몬들(?) 다섯 개가 있다.” 

셀 수 있는 명사
사물 - book, tree / 단위 – hour, kilometer / 무리- family, audience, team
단수 - a book, a boy… (하나) 복수 - books, boys… (여러 개)

〈셀 수 있는 명사의 단수형〉 → 한정사 + 단수명사 
a/the book , this/that book , my book 등

man → men(남자들), tooth → teeth(치아), person → people(사람들)
child → children(어린이들), fish → fish(물고기들), salmon → salmon(연어들)

〈복수형으로만 쓰는 명사〉
pants, shorts, jeans, pajamas, tights, glasses, scissors, ….
