command 명령하다, 지휘하다

What gives you the right to command them?

무슨 권리로 그들에게 명령하는 겁니까?

I’m the commanding officer.

내가 이 부대의 지휘관이요.

rule 지배하다, 다스리다

일본은 한국을 몇 년이나 지배했죠?

They ruled for 36 years.
